Climate change could increase foodborne illness by energizing flies

Climate change risks the increase of foodborne illnesses from flies. A recent study shows that as the climate temperature increases, the more active flies are. It is not uncommon for flies to come in contact with spoiled foods or infected animal feces which allows them to spread diseases. These diseases can eventually affect humans.

This is very interesting because I know how much of an impact climate change has. However, I never realized that it could cause insects or animals to potentially affect human health. This can be really dangerous and hopefully we begin to pay more attention on how much we affect the planet as a whole.
