Bengal Tigers May Not Survive Climate Change

News has it that climate change and rising sea levels might take out the worlds last and largest tiger. There us currently 500,000 species left and survival is hard. Where the tigers live has 70 percent of land that just a view feet above sea level, which might be able to wipe out the last remaining tiger. They say by 2070 they will all be dead. I think that this is a horrible situation and a hard thing to deal with and fix.

    Wow, this is so upsetting to hear. Bengal tigers are amazing animals, and we need to start taking climate change more seriously so that we can protect these kinds of species.

    Effects like this should really be taken seriously. Climate change is a serious and harmful effect and we should really begin to take more action before it is too late.

    It is awful to hear when these things are happening, but it is definitely important to stay informed. It is so strange that people are still denying the effects of climate change when things like this are happening. Action definitely needs to be taken before there are more irreversible effects.

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
