Senator Booker Is Right about Factory Farming

 IN this article we read about why factory farming is bad. We are informed that this produces too much animal waste for humans to dispose of correctly which polluted the ground. We also know that the factory farming hams animals in the process. Factory farming does nothing but harm us humans, the environment, and animals. 

With all of this being said, we need to change this. Senator Cory Booker is in the process of abolishing the concentrated animal- feeding operations (CAFOs)  to get rid of factory farming. The quicker we do this, the better the environment and animals will be.

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
