How to keep humans from ruining the search of life on Mars

This article talks about how Nasa is planning to send humans to mars. They want to send humans there by 2030, but there is another sector to be launched in 2024. Nasa doesn't want to send life to Mars so early because if they do then the research they are looking for could be ruined, they won't be able to find anything new or anything from the past. They also do not fully know if Mars is compatible for life yet.I find this interesting because one, I didn't even know they were thinking of sending people to Mars and especially not that soon! Also it was new to me knowing that they are still researching on mars, and I hope that they are able to send people up there and get things going.

  1. Wow times fly and that seems just around the corner better not blink! ;) But why would they even consider sending people to Mars when they don't even know if they will be able to survive? I hope they know what they are getting into.

  2. This article is very interesting and makes me ask a couple of questions. If Mars is not completely compatible for life, then why is NASA considering sending people there within the next few years? Also, if they don't want anything to get ruined or lost with humans travels to Mars, then why send them?

  3. Personally, the thought of sending people to Mars is scary. I certainly will not be volunteering to live on Mars. On the other hand, I think it is incredible that NASA plans to send people to Mars as soon as 2030. The article mentions that researchers are not sure if Mars is compatible for people to live on it quite yet. With 2030 right around the corner, my concern is that researchers will not know if Mars is truly safe for human settlement by that time.
