Arctic warming contributes to drought

Link:

Because temperatures in the arctics are warming up so significantly, the temperature difference between the poles and the tropics is weakening.  This will eventually cause less precipitation and lead to prolonged drought. I think this is an issue because now these areas will be facing droughts, which will be a major concern for tropical areas that are used to having an abundance of rain.

  1. I agree, this will end up becoming an issue as areas will now face drought and will be faced with issues such as not as much as rainfall for areas that get a lot of it & will change the qualities of that environment.
