In many parts of the world there has been an increase in mouth cancer cases. PM2.5 is known for being harmful to your cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Exposure to heavy metal and petrochemical plants emit PM2.5. "When compared with levels below 26.74 ug/m3, those above 40.37 ug/ m3 were associated with a 43 per cent heightened risk of a mouth cancer diagnosis."
in the article it says that they cant come up with a cause. it is scary to think that you could get mouth cancer just from the air. I think that this could become a big issue.
