Coral Reef

A good portion of the Great Barrier Reef had already been destroyed in 2016. Following that, a bleaching event took place which is usually caused by stress, but in this case, caused by global warming. By the year 2016 to 2017, the bleaching had eventually killed half of the entire coral reef. This travesty affects many homes to marine life and if/when marine life dies out it affects the human population as well. I believe we need to get to the bottom of climate change as quickly as possible to save our planet and the organisms within it.

  1. I agree that climate change needs to be addressed very soon as the diminishing of coral reefs is proof that this issue is rapidly impacting our planet. RIP lil fishies, just know that I was routing for you

  2. Yeah, our coral reefs are very important, so we need to find a way to slow climate change or finding another way to protect them.
