4 ways to tackle ocean trash besides Ocean Cleanup’s broken system

Four ways to help clean up ocean trash include Mr. Trash Wheel (the name of a waterwheel in Baltimore), collecting debris as it accumulates on land, using less plastic, and rethinking the cycle to get companies to use less plastic.  I think these ways are a good start to reducing the amount of plastic and other waste that are harmful to the environment.

    The problem is that most people are going to continue to to use plastic and plastic material that are harmful to the environment. A better way to reduce trash would be to introduce something new to humans that is a safer alternative to plastic and is better for the environment.

    I think if people would just care about the environment we wouldn't have these problems but that won't happen so we should come up with something so people use less plastic.

    Taking on ocean cleanup is a HUGE task and it should not be ignored. Focusing our attention only on preventing future ocean litter is important, but we really need to be devoting the same amount of attention the the problem we already have on our hands.

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2.
