Biased Current Event

My article is biased on global warming, it states how only people who care about nature can stop global warming. It also states how global warming is for sure happening, it does not have any other side but the side for global warming, therefor this is a biased article on the fact its not open to other opinions. Its not open to other opinions o global warming or how to stop it, if it actually is happening.

    I do not believe in global warming and it was interesting to read your article and see how they try to play on your emotions "only people who care about nature can stop global warming". I do not believe in global warming and I sill care about nature and my environment I'm not a heart less person :'D. Heehee

    Its very interesting the way that this article was worded, because yes, there is bias, but there is also a lot of stereotyping which does nothing to help the problem of global warming. Stating that only "those who care about nature can stop global warming" makes the fight against global warming so much harder because it implies that only a select few can help. Not only do we need to be careful of bias in articles, we also need to be conscious of what types of wording are influencing the ways that humans treat the environment.

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
