In the article it provides facts of how the climate warming that is occurring is affecting birds in California. The birds are adjusting their lifestyles to avoid the warming and breed 5-12 days in advance of their normal calendars.

    This is a very interesting article not only does is mention how it will effect the environment but it shows how this species is suffering. I think that if this keeps happening these birds might go extinct.

    It's so sad to see all these effects we have on the environment and all the proof of it but so many people don't think it's an issue.

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
