A article by science daily  explains how a 2 degree change in the climate in Antarctica would result in at least one free ice chain summer but if there is a a limited warning of 2 degree they would limit the possibility of a ice free summer by 30% 2100. The scientist explain how they never knew how even a .5 degree change can effect so much in the environment. The ice shelves are melting no getting around it but for the possibility that there could be ice free summer is not good since so many organism live on them. This change could change the world forever.

Vegetation Changes At Rate Similar to Post Ice Age Period

 Noah Frack Scientist have discovered through the research of fossilized pollen samples that todays plant are changing at a rapid rate. This rate rivals that of plants at the end of the ice age retaking land the had previously been uninhabitable due to icy conditions. They adapted to the increase of temperatures by 10 degrees as the ice retreated to the poles. the changes of vegetation today have been correlated to the damages caused insensitive agriculture and creation of the earliest cities and civilizations.  This research brings my mind to the true scale of the earth and simply how little an individual is compared to the lifetime of the earth. Covid 19 is already a dangerous disease. Millions of people are dying from it. Not to state the obvious but it is much worse for people that are amino compromised. People can be completely healthy with no health problems and still die, that's why this is a pandemic. This article is explaining how dangerous and deadly this disease is for people who have diabetes. They are much more likely to get and and suffer. To people that aren't compromised, we still get it but our symptoms usually aren't too bad. For diabetes and any other disease, you are at much higher risk. After reading through this article, I emphasize how important it is to listen about social distancing. Even though you might not have any medical conditions, you are still putting people at risk. Contact tracing starts with someone that got it and can go back to someone they walked past in a store a week ago.
