One degree can make a difference

      Researchers have found that the dropping of 2.7 Fahrenheit a year could cause an ice free summer in the Arctic by the year 2100. Many are in disbelief that these 2 degrees could effect many of animals and destroy the environment. The international Paris Climate Agreement set a global warning and target to restrain from the warming of the Arctic. The Arctic right now is suffering because of the rising global temperatures and in the future we do not know how much these temperatures might rise. The good news is that if we soon lower the temperatures then the sea ice will have enough time to react and freeze again.

    Wow, I wish i could say I am surprised by this but knowing how destroyed our planet is at the moment no wonder only 2 degrees can impact areas this much.

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
