Climate change may make Australia’s wildfires more common
Australia’s fire season normally peaks in January, but as of January 2020, wildfires have been raging in the country for four months. So far, the fires have destroyed more than 1,300 homes, and burned about 6 million acres and killed at least 24 people. Those wildfires are being fueled by a combination of record high temperatures, long-term drought, low air and soil moisture going into the normal fire season, and human negligence. Climate change could make such extreme, deadly blazes three times as common by the end of the century.
Neglect of not only the environment, but of the effects of it as well, if something isn't done, Australia could all be a blaze in the near future.

Let's not forget that over 200 people have been arrested on Arson charges in regards to these bush fires as well.
