King Penguins Face Threats Due To Climate Chnage

King Penguins could be in danger due to the dramatic climate change. Since glaciers are continuing to melt it is leaving the penguins stranded. They are having to travel further for food, which puts them at more dangers such as being prey for seals or not being able to find the food in enough time for their families. They also have less breeding grounds since their homes are melting away. The more the climate continues to change, the more animals it will continue to impact.We need to find better solutions to keep these issues from increasing.

    I agree we should find a solution, but the King Penguin doesn't play a big roll in any of our daily lives so we can push this to the side and focus on more problems at hand. Otherwise it was a very interesting article to read.

      I agree, while this is an issue we need to get to the cause of all of this. If we just fix the king penguins' issue its the equivalent of putting a band-aid on a bullet-hole. We need to get to the bottom of this, much like other environmental issues.

    Daphne posted something about the freakishly warm water in the Atlantic which doesn't really make sense if these ice caps are melting. If you put ice in water, that ice will melt making the water colder.. Something seems fishy...

    Without human kind helping the environment from climate change then many animals are going to be in danger especially focusing on the arctic animals because of ice capes melting.
