Air pollution is shortening your life in some cases more than a year, it all depends where you live. The worldwide average is one year but in places such as Egypt it shortens the citizens life span by 1.9 years. Pollutants can come from multiple different sources, more of the obvious source would be things such as car exhaust or truck tailpipes but wildfires and dust storms have a impact on pollution also.
