This article is very interesting. It helps show that many things we know about the world and nature is only a theory. Nature is a complicated thing, and environmental science is important because our predictions we conclude from it are used to help us make sense of the world and help us utilize our resources whilst keeping our home healthy.
This is a nice example of a straight-forward controlled experiment.
