This article should raise much concern for water treatments and factories especially in India. This goes to show the minimal protection used to keep people and animals out of the water. Not only is this a safety violation but also untreated waste is now discovered. This untreated water and waste is harming multiple living things on this earth. We only have one Earth that needs to be taken care of properly.

    I agree with you! As a result of carelessness many are affected daily due to disgusting water treatments. Water is a key part of survival without water there would be no life. That is a very important reason to take care of the water. As you said we only have one world we should be taking care of it not helping out with its end.

    I agree with you as well! Like Becca said, water is what keeps us alive and we're allowing it to get dirty. If the stuff polluting water continues to spread to areas other than India, a decent amount of the human and animal population could be put at risk.

    I agree! This shows what policies regarding water safety and pollution could detail, but it makes us aware to the idea that maybe we should be a little more restrictive on the policies to keep the water supply clean enough to sustain people.

    I agree as well as the others, the water is important to our environment and ecosystem and if it is effecting the dogs in these ways then just imagine what it could do to us. The water definitely is something that needs to be taken care of.

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
