New figures show that the energy sector of Australia is able to generate enough power to run 70% of homes. Not only is this amazing, but it is predicted to rise to 90% once the wind and solar projects are under way in 2017-2018. This renewable energy is not only good for the environment, but is also good for the economy. Most of the energy is formed by hyrdo-electricity, wind, and rooftop solar panels. This booming renewable energy market is also good for jobs, providing many people with employment opportunities. I think that this is absolutely great for the environment, the people of Australia, and the economy.

  1. This is very good to know and could definitely help the World now and in the future. More houses could be built in that area benefiting the environment and helping people that live there as well. Maybe in the future the world will find many different areas that have these energy sectors.

  2. With Australia using this kind of technology it could lead to other countries evolving and also using the technology. It would not only be great for the environment but also the economy if we can make it work without any problems. It excites me to see this kind of technology being created!

  3. Renewable energy sources could change the face of the world if they became the most widely used method to obtain energy. Not only would the human population be able to positively thrive off of renewable energy sources, but it would also allow the earth to thrive as well. If more institutions used solar energy, hydroelectricity, or wind to power themselves, not only would there be significant pollution decreases all throughout the world, but it would also allow the Earth to begin to recuperate from the damage that humans have already inflicted.
