A very small number of crops are dominating globally: That's bad news for sustainable agriculture
Crop diversity has changed and actually is going up this means that all the farms in Asia, Europe North and South America are beginning to look similar. The researchers are seeing that one crop takes up a lot of space in farms. For example Soybeans, wheat, rice and corn make up 50 percent of land. This is a major issue and needs to be solved. I believe that this is interesting because I never thought about this and did not believe that it was a problem, but it is.
