Flying squirrels secretly glow pink, thanks to fluorescence

Flying squirrels are already gifted with a flap of skin between their limbs that allows them to glide long distances.  However, new research shows that when these animals are exposed to ultraviolet light their fur glows a pink color. This makes these squirrels one of the only mammals known to florescence. I thought this was interesting because I didn't even know flying squirrels existed, let alone that they glow pink.
