Congress voted to protect millions of acres of public lands: Why it’s a huge win for conservationists

This article is talking about how congress has voted on a bill to pass a protection on over two million acres of land in the country. The bill nearly covers every state in protecting land from future mining. the bill also highlights that the Land and Water conservation fund will be authorized. The fund helps pay for conservation nation wide. A big step in protecting land.

My thoughts are that this is great for the environment and the future of our thinking. This  is a big step in people realizing whats going now, hopefully opening new eyes to the problems. Great for untouched land to be preserved from mining and drilling.
