A new look into a planetismal that managed to survive the destruction of its sun. The planet now orbits its white dwarf that has taken the place of its sun. they found that the planet is composed by an iron rich core. This research allows scientist to examine the cores of planets which they say is hard to examine from earth because we cant drill to the core.

    Its really interesting to see a planet that had a sun destroyed goes into orbit around a white dwarf that has taken the place of the sun, and that the planet is very rich in iron. Is it possible for there to be life on that planet?

      It's doubtful that there is any life on the planet now, because there was probably an extreme increase or decrease in temperature that, even if there was life on this planet previously, it is likely dead now. But I could be wrong, so maybe there is life. Who knows?

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
