The rapid disappearance of the world's ice leaves ancient artifacts, frozen corpses, long-dead viruses, and lots of trapped greenhouse gases as parting gifts as Earth's glaciers and permafrost retreat. Now, thanks to global research nuclear fallout can be added to the list. In a recent study of glaciers, all glaciers studied have elevated levels of fallout radionuclides (radioactive atoms resulted from nuclear accidents and weapons tests). According to Clason, the nuclear contaminants will have no immediate threat to the environment, but are found in significantly higher levels than what is deemed safe for human ingestion. The contaminants can enter the food chain by melting into rivers, lakes, and oceans.

    I can't wait to get the black plague! Maybe once people start dying of age old diseases they will realize that climate change is real. Then they will be sorry!

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
