Earthworm Feces

Asian jumping earthworms are carving their way through our territory and they are changing our soil. Scientists can tell when they have been in the soil because they leave little balls of feces. They affect the earth by locking up the nutrients and chemically alter the soil \meaning the feces is holding the nutrients which makes it hard for the plants to absorb. I think this is a problem because if this keeps occurring then plants won't grow and that becomes a big problem.

  1. We should quickly try to find a solution or way to prevent these earthworms from going into our soil. Agriculture plays a huge role in a society, so the effects of these creatures could be very detrimental.

  2. This is a major problem to take care of now because this could affect our food that we grow in fields and many other things to.

  3. Scientists should create a chemical that exterminators can use to kill these worms and prevent them from screwing up our soil too much. If plants can't grow because of worm shit, that is a big problem, because we need plants to go through photosynthesis and produce oxygen in order for us to survive.

  4. Coming up with a solution is needed because agriculture is important. We could crossbreed the plants to make them stronger when fighting against the feces.

  5. This can greatly affect our agriculture, we must find a way to restrict the growth of this species and not allow it to affect our fields.

  6. This could be very bad because if the nutrients don't get to the organisms that need them, they won't survive.
