Climate Change Biased Article

This article talks about climate change and is biased because the author is clearly against the idea of climate change. The author shows that he does not believe environmentalists are correct that the climate is changing. The author presents the information about climate change by saying that only bad weather is blamed on climate change and good weather is never blamed on climate change. The fact that the author is baised affects the information in the article because he chooses to only focus on the good weather that is happening, such as the weakening of hurricane Irma. If he was not biased about climate change, he might have focused on the increase of hurricanes this season instead of the weakening of Irma.

Acid Zone in Chesapeake Bay Found

     According to the University of Delaware, the Chesapeake Bay is becoming acidic as it has gone to 7.4 pH from an average of 8.2. The oxidation of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide may be the factor that is leading to the higher acidity levels in coastal oceans, but it can eventually lead to more of open oceans. Naturally the waters of the Chesapeake Bay have a regulatory system that holds back the increase of acidity levels in the area, and this works as the dissolving of living shells, non-living aragonite, and calcite minerals.
